But it makes up for that in features. You have up to 7 layers (with the Home version) and an enormous amount of effects that can be performed. (PIP, slo-mo, reverse, autofade, etc)The free trial works just like the full version except for it puts a watermark on your final video. Most effects are easy to use but for rostrum-type pans and zooms the operation is tedious and often doesn't work properly.That said, Edit Studio is much better than anything else I have used and remains my primary video editor package.
